She is the first woman to head the top post at the Maharatna company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mittal replaces&nbsp;<strong>Subhash Kumar<\/strong>, another interim head who retired after reaching superannuation age on December 31. He was also serving as an interim head.
