GSAT-30 is configured on\nISRO\u2019s enhanced I-3K Bus structure to provide communication services from\nGeostationary orbit in C and Ku bands. The satellite derives its heritage from\nISRO\u2019s earlier INSAT\/GSAT satellite series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Daily Current\nAffairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GSAT-30 communication satellite will aim to provide\nhigh-quality telecommunications, television and broadcasting services. The\ncommunication satellite will be used to support VSAT networks, DTH television\nservices, digital satellite news gathering, DTH television services, teleport\nservices, television uplinking, cellular backhaul connectivity and other such\napplications.
