The One Nation One Ration Card\u2019 scheme will be implemented by\ngovernment across the country from June 1, 2020. The facility of inter-state or\nnational portability of ration card had already begun in 12 states from January\n1 this year. This facility would be extended to eight more states by the month\nof June which would cover around 63 crore beneficiaries of food grains under\nthe National Food Security Act (NFSA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the \u2018one nation one ration card\u2019 scheme, any eligible\nbeneficiary will be able to get his\/her entitled food grains under the NFSA\nfrom any public distribution or fair price shop in the country using the same\nration card.
