Daily Current\nAffairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nOn the Day, UNESCO will release a new right to education handbook. It will also publish new data on education inequalities showing which population groups are lagging behind in achieving SDG 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to new data released by UNESCO\u2019s Institute for Statistics (UIS) and the Global Education Monitoring Report:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n- The poorest children and youth in low-income\ncountries are less than \u00bd as likely to complete primary school than the richest<\/li>
- They are less than \u00bc as likely to complete lower\nsecondary school<\/li>
- They are 1\/10 as likely to complete upper\nsecondary school<\/li>
- Children in rural areas are over twice as likely\nto be out of school than children living in urban areas in low-income countries<\/li>
- Only 2% of the poorest girls in low-income\ncountries complete upper secondary school<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
