Maharashtra government has launched the “Shiv\nBhojan” scheme on the occasion of the 71st Republic Day on 26 January\n2020. It has been launched on a pilot basis. The scheme aims to provide a meal\nto the poor at subsidized rates. Under the scheme, the Shiv Sena-led state\ngovernment will provide a meal to the poor for just Rs 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the Shiv Bhojan scheme, lunch plates or thalis will be\nmade available to the poor at designated canteens and centres during a\nparticular time in all districts of the state.
