The ranking has been&nbsp;<strong>topped jointly by three countries- Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.<\/strong>&nbsp;(Score of 88). The index, which ranks 180 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption according to experts and business people, uses a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 is highly corrupt and 100 is very clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year (for 2020) India was ranked 86th with a score of 40. Ltd\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The government on January 25, 2022 notified the Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Bank amalgamation scheme with Delhi-based Unity Small Finance Bank Ltd (USFBL), with effect from January 25, 2022. This means that from January 25, 2022 all the branches of the PMC Bank will function as branches of Unity Small Finance Bank Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unity Small Finance Bank Limited is&nbsp;<strong>promoted by Centrum Financial Services Limited along with Resilient Innovation Private Limited.&nbsp;<\/strong>Both the promotors have infused capital of \u20b91105.10 crore in the bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the scheme of amalgamation released by the government, all assets and liabilities of PMC Bank stand transferred to USFBL from January 25, 2022. The Indian Armed Forces had placed an order for&nbsp;670,000 rifles, for which the contract was signed on 6 December 2021 between India and Kalashnikov (Russian defense manufacturing unit). The total cost of the contract is around&nbsp;Rs 5,124 crore. The contract included procuring 70,000 rifles off the shelf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remaining 600,000 rifles will be manufactured by an&nbsp;Indo-Russian joint venture company, Indo-Russia Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL),&nbsp;based at&nbsp;Amethi, Uttar Pradesh India&nbsp;under transfer of technology (ToT).&nbsp;[at Korwa Rifle Factory, Amethi].
