She was 84.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salvini was born in Italy but moved to France for learning music. In 1962, Salvini obtained a two-year scholarship training in Kathakali at the Kerala Kalamandalam. In 1975 she opened the Mandapa Centre in Paris to teach Indian classical dance.
