The Hoysala Temples was formally submitted for nomination by the Permanent Representative of India to UNESCO Vishal V Sharma on January 31, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Hoysalas temples<\/strong>&nbsp;nominated are represented by<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Chennakesava Temple at Belur (dedicated to Lord Vishnu)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebidu (dedicated to Lord Shiva)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Kesava Temple at Somanathapura (dedicated to Lord Vishnu)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hoysala Temples of Belur, Halebid and Somnathapura in Karnataka have been finalized as India\u2019s nomination for World Heritage List for the year 2022-2023, the Union Culture Ministry said.
