<\/figure>\n\n\n\nMinistry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has organised \u2018India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Conclave\u2019 at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the conclave, the minister also launched \u2018India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Challenge\u2019 under\u00a0Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 scheme. It has been launched on\u00a0MyGov platform. MoHUA Ministry will select 100 start-ups for funding support of Rs.20 lakhs as well as mentorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kashmiri hand-knotted carpets get QR Code-based GI Tag<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nGovt of Jammu and Kashmir has launched quick response (QR) code for its GI-tagged Kashmiri carpet to preserve the authenticity and genuineness of the hand-knotted carpets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Objective:\u00a0to help in reviving the sheen and glory of the Kashmiri carpet industry. QR code will contain relevant information of the artisans, manufacturer, weaver, district, raw material used etc. First-ever consignment of GI-tagged hand-knotted carpets were exported to Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EPFO lowers the interest rate on PF deposits to 8.1% for 2021-22<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nEmployees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has slashed the interest rate on provident fund deposits by 0.4% to 8.10% for 2021-22. Interest rate on PF deposit was 8.5% in 2020-21 and 2019-20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This decision was taken at the 230th meeting of the Central Board of Trustees, EPF under the Chairmanship of Bhupendra Yadav (Union Minister for Labour & Employment)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
