It has reduced a rate\ncut up to 50 basis points (bps) in some tenors, and for some tenors, it has\nannounced a reduction of 10 bps. The new rates were made effective from 10\nMarch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second time bank has reduced rates in one month.\nAccording to the newly effective interest rate, FD having tenor of 7 to 45 days\nwill earn 4 per cent instead of 4.5 per cent earlier. FD rates for tenure of\none-year and above have been reduced by 10 bps.
