The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)<\/strong>is the entrance test for admission into various undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions of India. The National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong> usually conducts NEET-UG Exam once in a year for admission into different MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses<\/strong> in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Testing Agency<\/strong>\u00a0has released the official notification for online application of the\u00a0NEET exam 2022<\/strong>. Interested and eligible candidates may\u00a0apply online<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0here. As per the official notification, the NEET-UG 2022 will be held on\u00a017th July 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Criteria to Appear in NEET (UG)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The National Testing Agency has fixed the following eligibility criteria to appear in\u00a0NEET 2022<\/strong>.

Nationality:<\/strong>\u00a0Citizens belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET (UG)

1. Indian Nationals
2. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
4. Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
5. Foreign Nationals

Age Limit:\u00a0<\/strong>Candidates have to completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his\/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.

Educational Qualification:\u00a0<\/strong>Candidate must have passed (or appear) Class 10+2 exam or equivalent exam with subjects- English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually from a recognized board or university with minimum marks as prescribed below:

1. General: 50 %
2. PWD: 45 %
3. SC\/ST\/OBC: 40 %<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Points:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I. Each question carries 04 (four) marks and, for each correct answer candidate will get 04 (four) marks.

II. For each incorrect answer, 01(one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

III. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer\/ best option.

IV. However, after the process of the challenge of key, if more than one option is found to be correct then all\/ any one of the multiple correct\/best options marked will be given four marks (+4).

^ Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
^ Unanswered\/Unattempted questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is dropped\/ ignored, all candidates will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested and eligible candidates have to pay an application fee of the amount as mentioned below during the online submission of the NEET-UG application. The fee can be paid using a credit card\/ debit card\/ net banking\/ e-challan\/ UPI.

1. General: Rs.1600\/-
2. Gen EWS\/ OBC-NCL: Rs.1500\/-
3. SC\/ ST\/ PwD\/ Transgender: Rs.900\/-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Outside India: Rs.8500\/-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
