This year, on 11 April, Parkinson\u2019s UK is supporting 2 activities, chosen and led by a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers: Poems for Parkinson\u2019s and Light Up Blue for Parkinson\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the theme is integrated healthcare. The day marks the birthday of&nbsp;Dr James Parkinson from London,&nbsp;who was the first person to systematically described the six individuals with the symptoms of Parkinson\u2019s Disease.
