India is the host nation for the Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 (SCCWC 2023), a mixed gender cricket tournament for street-connected children and young people worldwide. Organised by Street Child United and Save the Children India, the Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 will welcome 22 teams from 16 countries to India next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tournament will be organised by Save the Children India (Bal Raksha Bharat) and Street Child United in September 2023. SCCWC 2023 will be the second edition of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural edition was held in\u00a0London\/Cambridge in 2019,\u00a0in which eight teams took part and Team India South emerged victorious after beating hosts England. SCCWC is a global platform that gives street children an opportunity to connect, share their experiences and present their demand of human rights to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli-made laser system, known as the \u201cIron Beam,\u201d is designed to complement a series of aerial defense systems, including the more costly rocket-intercepting Iron Dome. Iron Beam is the\u00a0world\u2019s first energy-based weapons system that uses a laser beam\u00a0to shoot down incoming UAVs, rockets, mortars, long range missiles, anti-tank missiles etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
