YUVIKA – YUva VIgyani KAryakram

YUVIKA represents YUva VIgyani KAryakram, also known as “Young Scientist Programme.” YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) is a Unique Programme conducted by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the school children of India.
Key objectives:
Aim:
- To provide the young students basic information on Space Technology, Space Science, Space Applications.
- To develop an interest in Space Technologies at a young age.
- To inspire more youth to take up career in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Eligibility: - Any Indian Student studying in Class 09 on the 1st January related to the programme year (for YUVIKA 2025 the related date is 01.01.2025).
- Students can be from any school located within India.
ISRO Centres: The proposed plan is to have the camp at seven ISRO centres located across India are: - Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun
- Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram
- Satish Dhavan Space Center (SDSC) Sriharikota
- U. R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru
- Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad
- National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad
- North-Eastern Space Applications Centre (NE-SAC), Shillong.
