India-Bangladesh joint military exercise ‘Sampriti-X’ begins
India and Bangladesh has begun a joint military training exercise, ‘Ex SAMPRITI-X’ on June 5 at Jessore military station in Bangladesh. This will continue till June 16 as part of bilateral defence cooperation.
Aim: At strengthening the aspects of interoperability and cooperation between both armies.
Indian contingent represented: Dogra regiment. The armies of both nations will share expertise in counter-terrorism, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
