MoRTH launches “Rewarding Scheme for Grant of Award to the Good Samaritan”
Recently, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has issued Guidelines for the Scheme for grant of Award to the Good Samaritan who has saved the life of a victim from a fatal accident involving a motor vehicle. An individual Good Samaritan can be awarded maximum 5 times in a year.
The Scheme would come into effect from October 15, 2021. The Scheme would be effective w.e.f 15th of October, 2021. Details of the Scheme are available on the Ministry’s Portal.
