Twenty Point Programme

✓The Twenty Point Programme (TPP) (initially launched in 1975, and restructured in 1982, 1986, and 2006) is a package of government programs, with the aim of improving the quality of life in rural areas.

✓The program includes a range of schemes related to poverty alleviation, employment generation, education, health, housing, and environmental protection.

✓Monitoring: The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI) monitors the performance of the TPP based on reports received from state governments and central nodal ministries.
