Union Agriculture Minister launches Amul Honey
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched ‘Amul Honey’, a new product developed by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF) along with National Bee Board.
The launch saw the importance of the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission for doubling the income of farmers and beekeepers with budget of Rs 500 crores.
5 large-scale Regional Honey Testing Labs and 100 Mini Honey Testing Labs are being set up in India due to the major concern of pure honey.
