Explanation:
Food Corporation of India (FCI), West Bengal region is fully geared up for implementing the Fourth Phase of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna (PMGKAY). Six lakh Metric Tonnes of food grains was handed over to the State Government for distribution during the month of May and June in West Bengal. The Union Government announced further extension of PMGKAY for another five months till November 2021.
