About College

Anwarul Uloom College has the distinction of being the largest autonomous Muslim minority college in the state of Telangana in terms of student strength. Run by Anwarul Uloom Educational Association, which was formed in 1909, the College was established in 1953. It was first granted UGC recognition under 2(f) and 12(b) in 1961 and was granted autonomy for under-graduate courses by the UGC in 1989. The college sought and was granted autonomy by the UGC for 11 of its post graduate courses in the academic year 2013-14.
