Observance of ‘Iddat’ is necessary :

[A] Where Cohabitation is lawful i.e. consummation of marriage.

[B] Where Cohabitation is unlawful i.e. illicit intercourse and the pregnancy follows the illicit intercourse

[C] In both (1) and (2)

[D] Only in (1) and not in (2)
