Tamil Nadu’s Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve and Bardia National Park of Nepal jointly bags TX2 Award

The Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu was awarded the prestigious international TX2 Award for doubling its tiger population since 2010. Nepal’s Bardia National Park was also jointly conferred the award, for doubling its population of wild tigers. Sathyamangalam was designated a Tiger Reserve in 2013. Anantha Nageshwaran appointed as chief economic advisor of Government of India

The government appointed V Anantha Nageswaran as the chief economic advisor. He has assumed charge. The appointment comes just ahead of the government’s economic survey and Budget 2022. The former Chief Economic Advisor Krishnamurthy Subramanian’s term ended in December. V Anantha Nageswaran is a former member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (PMEAC).
