The 46thCivil Accounts Day will be celebrated on 2ndMarch 2022 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi. Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman will be the Chief Guest. Finance Secretary Dr. T.V. Somanathan, and Smt. Sonali Singh, Head of the Organisation will grace the occasion along with other dignitaries.
The Civil Accounts Day has been organised every year by theIndian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), since its inception in 1976. ICAS is one of the Civil Services of India. It comes under theDepartment of Expenditure, Union Ministry of Finance.
