
In a groundbreaking move to enhance India’s presence in global defense, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Morocco starting Monday. This visit marks a historic first, as it will be the inaugural trip by an Indian Defence Minister to Morocco, highlighting the increasing strategic partnership between the two countries. During his stay, Mr. Singh will officially open Tata Advanced Systems Maroc’s manufacturing facility for Wheeled Armoured Platforms in Berrechid, Morocco. This facility will be the first Indian defense manufacturing plant on the African continent, representing a significant achievement under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
