Assam rolls out online system to fast-track loans for small farmers

Assam is set to modernise farm credit delivery with the statewide implementation of the electronic Kisan Credit Card (e-KCC) platform. The initiative, backed by a tripartite agreement between NABARD (Assam Regional Office), Assam Gramin Bank, and 24×7 Moneyworks Consulting Pvt Ltd, aims to digitise KCC processing, cut paperwork, and significantly reduce delays in agricultural lending.
