Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as Chief Minister of Punjab on March 16, 2022.Mann was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. AAP was declared winners, after the party managed to win 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly.
