Ajay Bhadoo appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner of ECI: The Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointed Ajay Bhadoo as the Deputy Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India.

He has been appointed as the deputy election commissioner until July 24, 2024. He is a 1999-batch Indian Administrative Officer (IAS) officer of the Gujarat cadre.
Prior to this, he was appointed as the Joint Secretary of the President of India. Earlier, he has also served as Gujarat’s Vadodara Municipal Commissioner.
