
Alayaron, which means “The Dawn” in English, is recognized as one of the first feature films in the Bodo language. It was released on March 13, 1986, at Ganga Talkies in Kokrajhar. The film was directed by Jwngdao Bodosa, with a screenplay penned by Nilkamal Brahma and Hiramba Narzary. The plot is inspired by the short story “Mwdwi Arw Gwlwmdwi,” written by Brahma himself and published in Sirinai Mandar in 1985. Amar Narzary and Rohila Brahma take center stage in the film.
