Assam government has released the new Land Policy 2019 which was prepared by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. The Land Policy was approved by Cabinet on 21st October and it has been prepared by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department after 30 years. It was last prepared in 1989.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also released the Hand Book of Circulars, Volume-V containing the Government Circulars, Office Memorandum etc. issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department from 1st May, 2007 to 30th August, 2019.
