Assam governmentincreased the parent’s annual income of students eligible for
fee wavier scheme up to post graduation level from RS 1 Lakh to RS 2 Lakh.
It was announced by Assam education
ministerSiddhartha
Bhattacharya.
The scheme does not apply for private colleges
and universities in Assam.
Children of parents working in state and central
government are not eligible.
