Office of the Director General Assam Rifles, Shillong has released a notification for the recruitment of 152 Rifleman GD, Clerk, Radio Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Nursing Assistant and other vacancy under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme.

Only one dependent family member of ASSAM RIFLES personnel who was KILLED IN ACTION, DIED WHILE IN SERVICE, DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE ON MEDICAL GROUNDS AND MISSING WHILE IN SERVICE ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT.

Candidates shall submit their offline applications as per the format attached alongwith self-attested copies of educational certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, diploma/technical/ITl certificate (as applicable) of the trade-in accordance with Qualitative Requirements, incl one xerox copy of photo lD i.e. AADHAAR, PANA/Voter ID/ Driving license, etc to the address mentioned below.

“APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT” be endorsed on top of the postal envelope in which the application is being submitted.
The last date of receipt of applications from eligible candidates is 12 March 2022.
The candidates may also upload scanned copies of their application alongwith requisite connected documents in our official e-mail id [email protected] till last date of receipt of the applications.
The recruitment rally will tentatively be held from 02 May 2022 onwards at Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong (Meghalaya) NRS- Guwahati (Assam).
The firm Date of reporting to attend the recruitment rally will be intimated to the eligible candidates by registered post followed by uploading of necessary details on our official website assamrifles.gov.in from time to time.
