The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday announced that Bhupendra Patel will be the new chief minister of Gujarat.

Bhupendra Patel has been chosen as the new Chief Minister of Gujarat at the BJP legislature meeting on September 12, 2021.
He is a BJP MLA from the Ghatlodiya assembly seat.
This comes after the resignation of Vijay Rupani from the post of CM of Gujarat.
