Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) has crossed 100 crore rupees sales May 2022. PMBI is the implementing agency of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). The central government has also set a target to increase the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras to 10,000 by March 2024 with a view to provide quality medicines at an affordable rate.
