Advanced Plastics Processing Technology Centre (APPTC) a unit of CIPET Bhubaneswar was established at the Sand City –Balasore in November 2010. The Foundation Stone was laid for establishing the centre on 14th November 2010 at Bampada Industrial Estate, Balasore by Hon’ble Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt.of India Shri Srikant Kumar Jena and Shri Naveen Patnaik Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Orissa. The Centre is now functioning at the S-1/25 Industrial Estate O.T. Road Near S.B.I Bank Balasore. The centre has started functioning from a temporary location and offering two long term courses and a number of Vocational /Part Time /CAD CAM /Job Oriented and Specialized training programme for entrepreneurs.
