Energy sources which we can use to power our homes and to transport us from one place to another. These include coal, oil and natural gas. They are called conventional sources because they have been used for a long time without much change.

Fossil fuel is one of the sources of conventional energy. The major sources of conventional energy are Fossil fuels, nuclear power and renewable energy. Coal, petroleum and natural gas are the main sources of fossil fuels.

Pure oxygen, hydrogen, helium and nitrogen are the major source of non-renewable energy. Non-renewable energy will be depleted soon.

Renewable energy includes solar, wind, hydroelectricity, biomass, oceanic thermal energy conversion etc. Non-renewable energy may not be renewable forever.
