CSIR signed MoU with BHEL to push Make in India initiative

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) signed an MoU with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) to cooperate, collaborate and pursue industrial application oriented research programs and its commercialization on a large scale. The indigenously developed technologies by CSIR will be commercialized and implemented jointly by BHEL and CSIR in the country.

The first joint project under the collaboration will be used for commercialization by BHEL of various water purification and sewage disposal related technologies developed by CSIR. The MoU will be in line with the Make in India initiative of the government.
