Delhi government to sign MoU with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on March 18, 2025, for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) Under the scheme, 1,139 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (U-AAMs) will be established in Delhi to strengthen primary healthcare services and prepare to combat future pandemics and outbreaks. Additionally, the plan includes upgrading 553 existing mohalla clinics and creating 413 new U-AAMs. This development follows a lengthy legal struggle and a shift in Delhi’s political landscape.
