About College:
Devchand College is a premier and renowned grant-in-aid institution affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur in the State of Maharashtra. Padmabhushan Shriman Seth Devchandji Shah established the college in 1960 with the sole objective of transforming lives of thousands of sons and daughters of poor farmers, landless laborers, tobacco and beedi workers in and around forty villages surrounding the town of Nipani through the potent tool of quality higher education. Since its inception, Devchand College has earned fame and name as an institution with quality par excellence.
