Divya Deshmukh Emerges Winner Of 2023 Tata Steel Chess India Women’s Rapid Tournament: Divya Deshmukh, a 17-year-old Chess Woman Grandmaster from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, won the women’s quick portion of the Tata Steel Chess India tournament. She dominated the competition by securing victories in all three rounds of the tournament, which took place at the National Library in Kolkata on September 1, 2023.

Deshmukh took first place with a fantastic score of 7, while China’s reigning world champion, Ju Wenjun, came in second with 6.5 points. Polina Shuvalova of Russia finished third with 5.5 points.
