The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in collaboration with the Indian Navy, has successfully validated the Multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM) through combat firing with reduced explosives.
Developed by NSTL Visakhapatnam with support from other DRDO labs and manufactured by Bharat Dynamics Limited and Apollo Microsystems, the system is designed to enhance India’s undersea warfare capabilities against modern stealth threats.
With its readiness confirmed, MIGM is poised for induction into the Indian Navy, marking a significant boost to indigenous defence production under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
