Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 50 Forest Ranger vacancy in the Assam Forest Service under Environment & Forests Deptt., Govt. of Assam.

Scale of Pay: PB 3 Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- and GP: Rs 10,300/-

Eligibility Criteria of Forest Department Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2021.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

1. SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
2. OBC/ MOBC: 3 years 

Educational Qualification: Applicant must possess Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University with at least one of the following subjects:-

iv. Computer Applications/ Computer Science
v. Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical)

3. BPL: Rs 35.40
