G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT) is one of the premier institutions started in the year 2011 with CSE,EEE,ECE,Civil and Mechanical branches by Bharathi Education Trust (BET), Bharathinagar. Since then, it has grown with time. At present, the institution runs 5 under graduate courses in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and 2 post graduation courses in Master of Technology (M.Tech) with an annual intake of about 425 students.
