Govt. Polytechnic Mirzapur was established by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 1964 with three courses in Diploma Engg., Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg. (Production) & Electrical Engg.This institution is one of the oldest Polytechnic Institutes in U.P. It is located on National Highway No. 7 (Rewa Road) about 1 Km from Mirzapur Railway Station.
