Government Polytechnic Palanpur was established in the year 1984. The Government of Gujarat allotted 20 Acres of land on which stands the majestic & sprawling Govt. Polytechnic campus. This institute started in the year 1984 with three Diploma level Engineering courses (Civil, Mechanical, and Elect) for the development of border area district.
