Leftist party, Gustavo Petro has won presidential election of Colombia and becomes the first ever leftist president in the history of country. He defeated construction magnate, Rodolfo Hernandez with a margin of more than 700,000 votes.
Petro is a former mayor of capital Bogota and current senator.He was also a former member of the M-19 guerrilla movement.Francia Marquez has become the first Black woman Vice President of Colombia.
