The Indian company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will now manufacture Light Utility Helicopters (LUH) for the Indian Air Force and Army. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will be manufacturing close to 200 helicopters that are indigenously designed and developed to meet the operational requirements of Indian Army and Indian Air Force. These light utility helicopters will replace the old Cheetah and Chetak helicopters included in the Army fleet.
