HDFC Bank launched ‘Bank on Wheels’ in Gujarat: HDFC Bank, has unveiled ‘Bank on Wheels’ service in Gujarat, as a part of Rural Banking service.
Aim: To increase the accessibility of Bank in rural area. Currently, the van is part of the pilot project and more vans are planned to be rolled out in various states.

Bank on Wheels:
Bank vans will visit remote villages located 10 – 25 km from the nearest branch. The van will cover three towns in a day. The vehicle will also make two weekly trips to each community.
