This cutting-edge vessel, named ‘Saur Shakthi,’ is a collaborative effort between Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and Navalt, an eco-marine tech company. Barracuda Design and Features
Designed by Navalt, the Barracuda is a 14-meter-long and 4.4-meter-wide vessel engineered for workboat purposes. It boasts twin 50-kW electric motors, a marine-grade LFP battery, and 6-kW solar power, propelling it to a top speed of 12 knots (23 kmph). The vessel’s capabilities include a range of seven hours on a single charge, making it a formidable addition to eco-friendly maritime transportation.
Barracuda Eco-Friendly Commuting
The Barracuda ensures a serene and eco-conscious journey for commuters with zero pollution, no noise, and vibrations. As a testament to its eco-friendly design, the vessel has been certified under IRS (Indian Register of Shipping).
