The Oscar-nominated Tamil film‘Koozhangal’,has bagged theBest Film Awardin the Asian Film Competition category at theDhaka International Film Festival 2022. Information and Broadcasting Minister of Bangladesh Hasan Mahmud gave away the awards as Chief Guest during the concluding session organised at theNational Museum auditorium in Dhaka.
The film has been directed by P S Vinothraj. Famous South Indian actress Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan are the producer of the film. Meanwhile, The best actor award was given toJayasuryafor Ranjith Sankar-directed film Sunny. The film is directed by Ranjith Shankar.
