Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), BARGARH started in 2008. Indian Institute of Handloom Technology is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Industries, Government of Rajasthan and the nodal agency in the State for giving input of Science and Technology to the traditional Handloom Textile Industry. The Institute was established and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 in the year 1987 in the name of Institute of Handloom and Textile Technology(IHTT).
